The death toll in the Sunday attack by suspected Boko Haram members on the Yobe State College of Agriculture, Guijba, has increased from 50 to 90.

A security top source made this known on Monday just as the Amnesty International, the Nigeria Labour Congress, the All Progressives Congress, the Arewa Consultative Forum and the Jama’atu Nasril Islam flayed the incident as ignoble, wicked and horrendous.

Boko Haram Invades Yobe Leaving Not Less Than 50 Students Dead.

Not less than 50 students of the College of Agriculture, Gujba, in Yobe State, were gunned down by men suspected to be members of the Boko Haram sect on Sunday.

Provost  of the college, Mr. Mulima Mata, confirmed an attack on the college early Sunday morning.

The report said students were shot dead as they slept in their dormitory and that the gunmen also set fire to classrooms.
