Teen's Throat Slashed At Party

Police were last night questioning a man over the death of a teenager whose throat was slashed outside a house party in a Perth suburb early yesterday.

Callum Pinner, 19, was one of about 60 guests at a house in Grand Promenade, Doubleview on Saturday night.

Again, Boat Mishap Claims 18 Lives in Niger

Barely six days after a boat mishap which occurred in Malili village in Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State claimed 26 lives, another one has occurred leaving no fewer than 18 persons dead.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority has suspended the operations of Associated Aviation Limited, owners of Associated Airlines, following Thursday’s crash, which killed 13 out of the 20 people on board.

The EMB 120 2ER 5N-BJY aircraft with 30 passenger capacity, which was manufactured by Embraer S.A Brazil and registered in Nigeria on May 22, 2007 crashed shortly after take-off from the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos.
