Mo Abudu Honoured With Honoris Causa Award At The 2014 Convocation Ceremony Of Babcock University

One of the leading private universities in Nigeria, Babcock University, honours Mo Abudu as Doctor of Humane Letters, Honouris Causa.

This award according to the President/Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof J.A Kayode Makinde is to celebrate those who have inspired the young generation in diverse ways.
'Mo Abudu is media professional and we are proud of the great achievement in her career' he said while introducing the two dignitaries approved by the University council to be conferred the honorary award.

Babcock University describes Mo Abudu as Beauty, Courage, Faith and Inspiration. The University further describes her as the 'Lady of the Moment'.

Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was also awarded Doctor of Science in Global Economic Development, Honouris Causa.

'I am speechless and honoured to be given this award. 'I am extremely happy to be associated with this prestigious university'' said Mo Abudu when told to respond to the award.

Dr. Abudu finally dedicates her honorary degree to those who have believed in her and have stood by her to make her worthy of celebration.

She challenges the graduating set to think big ideas and dream big. 'The time has come to act and that time is now' she said.

The convocation took place at Babcock University Sports Stadium.
