The city is one of the oldest popular cities in Lagos with over 2million residents.
The history of Lagos can never be well said without mentioning the ups and downs of AJ. Also, the football and musical history of Nigeria will never be concluded without Ajegunle as the pioneer city where football and music got its lime light from.
Some of these artistes to mention but few the likes of Daddy Showkey (Ghetto Soldier), Daddy Fresh, Baba Fryo, Marvelous Benji, African China, The Danfo Drivers, Oritse Femi, Fletter man, Ada Ameh(Nollywood Actress), and to mention few of the footballers, the likes of Emmanuel Amuneke, Bobo Edom, Jonathan Akpoboreire, Taribo West, Samson Siasia, Ebitimi Collins,Thomas Abega, Gabriel Okolosi, Babajide Oguntuwase, Omoefe, Othuke Okinedo, Chris Edem(Anigala), Ajibade Babalade, Albert Eke all did the city proud and set a road-map of success for the growing lads and girls which has become the city's hallmark.
Infact, i will not forget the days of BALOGUN WORLD CUP in Saint Mary's play ground organised by Orobosa Oyaghiro.
I feel delighted to be associated with these young men and women.
