Homicide case reported on Annapolis Road and B-W Parkway in Prince George’s with A Man Found Dead By The Road Side

Prince George’s County police are on the scene of a homicide that occurred early Wednesday evening in the area of Annapolis Road and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway, a spokeswoman said.

A man was found on Annapolis Road, with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, said Cpl. Lamar Robinson, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County police.

Police were investigating the area, including part of an overpass of the parkway at Route 450.

Police blocked Route 450, east and west of the Parkway. Robinson said the shooting occurred about 6:05 p.m.

In a tweet, the Prince George’s Police Department said they believed the incident was a targeted attack. Investigators were working to identify a suspect or suspects and a motive.
