Have you seen her body?!
Talk about superhero hot!
"I started training two months in advance [of filming] and a lot of weight training," Alexander told me about getting in shape to play Sif in the Thor franchise. "But more so this go around, I also did a lot of yoga and Pilates because I needed to be very flexible and do a lot of martial arts."
Unfortunately, that didn't mean she was free from getting hurt. "I did injure my back," Alexander admitted.
She healed in about three weeks. "I have a better posture than before," Alexander said of her recovery. "I think there's a blessing in everything."
Alexander recently set off a firestorm of buzz that she's in the running to play Wonder Woman after telling Total Film that she's not only met with with DC/Warner Bros and Marvel, but that she knows the storyline of the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie.
"I said I knew a little bit of the storyline," she explained. "A lot of us run in the same circles."
She said of the Wonder Woman chatter, "It's all been very flattering. I was a huge fan of that character growing up when I was a little girl. But I have to say I love playing Sif and if she's the closest I get to Wonder Women then so be it."
