Kenichi Ebina emerged winner of the season 8 edition of the America's got talent. 
Kenichi Ebina amazed people with his dance performances on America’s Got Talent. His “dancish” is a fusion of hip-hop, martial arts, modern dance and technology.

You cant make me resign, Okonjo-Iweala tells Amaechi’s NGF

The coordinating minister for the economy and Minister of Finance, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Wednesday dismissed calls for her resignation by members of the Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi-led Nigeria Governors’ Forum.
The minister said she would not in any way consider such advice but would rather bother herself with the economy.
Members of the Amaechi faction of the NGF had on Tuesday called on the minister to resign her appointment if she knew she would not be able to adhere strictly with the Appropriation Act 2013.

FG proposes N14tn budget for three years …sets oil benchmark at $74 for 2014

The Federal Government has proposed a total of N14.07tn as budget for the next three years, with a proposal to spend N4.495tn in the 2014 fiscal year.
The 2014 proposal is N425bn  less than the N4.92tn proposed by the Federal Government for 2013.
It also proposed N4.743tn and N4.839tn for the 2015 and 2016 fiscal years, respectively.
These were contained in the 2014-2016 Medium Term Expenditure Framework submitted to the National Assembly by President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday.
The document, which was obtained by our correspondents in Abuja on Wednesday, stated that the 2014 budget figure represented a 9.57 per cent drop from the 2013 budget of N4.987tn.

Forbes Africa denies releasing Nigeria's Top 20 Richest Men list


There was a top 20 Richest Men in Nigeria list that made the rounds online last week purportedly released by Forbes. I'm sure some of you saw it. I didn't put it up because I searched Forbes' website and didn't find it there. I eventually found the originator of the list - a blog called Strategic Business Team. Anyway, Forbes Africa wanted to clear the air and have released a statement. Find it below...

PDP: Reps exchange blows over rebel governors visit

Reps in a free-for-all in Abuja  ...on Tuesday


Fighting erupted in  the House of Representatives on Tuesday when   seven governors loyal to the New Peoples Democratic Party visited  the House in Abuja.
A member of the House  from Bayelsa State, Mr. Henry Ofongo, was punched and shoved repeatedly by his colleagues for daring to  oppose  the visit. His  jacket  was pulled off  by some members. Most of the members who crowded Ofongo, were from Kano State, including Mr. Aminu Suleiman, Mr. Baballe Murktar, Mr. Ali Madakaki and Mr. Ado Dogoa.

Northern Nigeria: 40 soldiers feared dead in B’Haram ambush
