Nigerians in Diaspora, this year plans a bigger 53rd Independence Day Celebration. The event as planned is to hold On Saturday, October 5th, 2013, in Oakland, California.
This event will feature renowned artists from Nigeria, along with Nigerian and guest local DJ’s, cuisine and Arts.
Confirmed performers includes:
• Akira Nwa Moses – Nigerian highlife and bongo music artist, performing his brand of highlife and traditional bongo music, live and direct from Nigeria (more information at www.onasevents.com)
• Rasaki Oladokun – Internationally renowned talking drum and juju music maestro from King Sunny Ade and West African Highlife band
