Kristen Bell appeared to confirm via Twitter that she did in fact marry longtimelove Dax Shepard in an impromptu ceremony at the Beverly Hills City Clerk's Office Thursday.
The Veronica Mars actress wrote, "Wife coffee tastes way better than regular coffee in the morning :) @daxshepard1"
These two…can they be any more likable?! We didn't think so.
It should be noted, however, that the adorable duo has called one another husband and wife before.
But given the timing of the tweet and Thursday's news, all signs point to this being Bell's way of announcing the good news.
The tweet came a day after tons of speculation as to whether or not the two had actually tied the knot and made it official.
According to TMZ, which first broke the news, the couple showed up simply to grab their marriage license but ended up taking the plunge right on the spot. A little spontaneity never hurt anyone!
(Bell also was reportedly tearing up, so perhaps an adorable sloth happened to be on hand.)
The two put wedding planning back on the table after the U.S. Supreme Court declared the federal Defense of Marriage Act unconstitutional earlier this year.
Bell went ahead and repopped the question to her fiancé of several years via Twitter.
"@daxshepard1 will you marry me? Xo #marriageequality #loveislove," she wrote.
The blond beauty also told E! News in August that she was while she was down "to get gay-married" any time, she assured us that she and Shepard would not be having a big wedding.
"We're not having a wedding," she explained. "It's not a desire of either of ours to have any sort of day of celebration for us. I feel like we get enough attention in our daily lives and we just want something sort of private that involves pen and paper."
And it appears that these two did precisely that!
