Nothing like a little brotherly competition in the name of charity!
Prince William and Prince Harry went head-to-head during the charity Christmas football match at Sandringham on Tuesday, Dec. 24.The annual event, which took place on Queen Elizabeth II's Norfolk estate, was reportedly attended by more than 100 spectators in addition to over 30 members of the royal family.
Harry, who's still sporting a bushy beard since returning from his South Pole expedition, scored the second goal for his team and even got scolded by the referee for a wild tackle on the field (this isn't American football, Harry!), according to reports.
And despite the fact that William and his brother battled it out on the field while showing off their athletic skills, they shared a warm embrace after the match, when it ended in a 2-2 draw.
The following day, the royals attended Christmas service at St. Mary Magdalene Church, where Prince William and Kate Middleton spoke about their son's first Christmas upon exiting the church.
Kate told reporters Prince George was having a "lovely" first Christmas while little Prince George's proud papa said the couple had a "good morning" with their son and "can't wait until next year when he's bigger.
And now that Christmas has come and gone, the royals are celebrating Boxing Day with an early breakfast at Queen Elizabeth II's Norfolk estate before William and several others head out for a pheasant hunt on the grounds.
Soon after the shoot, all the royals will say their goodbyes and leave the estate to return to their respective homes.
Sounds like a wonderful holiday!
